It’s time for another new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! And this week our sketch comes all the way from New Zealand as our favorite Kiwi, Karren Johnson, has a great one for us. Take a look:

I wanted to use the Trimming the Town suite again because it is such a fun suite of products. So I decided to turn the sketch 90 degrees and make a landscape card rather than a portrait card. You probably have to look really closely at my card to see the sketch, but hopefully you can see it.

I started with the strip of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper. Oh, how I’m sad Stampin’ Up doesn’t sell glimmer paper anymore! I am so glad I still have some scraps. This strip represents the strip on the side in the sketch.
I cut out the house and trees from a sheet of the Trimming the Town dsp using the coordinating dies. The mountains in the background are from another sheet of the dsp, as is the sentiment. No stamping whatsoever on this card.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! We love to see what you make as we browse the gallery each week. Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has made for your inspiration!
Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
