It’s that time of year where the weeks seem to zoom by, and while most of us are probably ready to have 2020 in our rear-view mirror, I can’t say I’m ready for the upcoming holidays. But hopefully you’re ready for a new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! This week our sketch comes all the way from the land down under, as our queen of flowers, fussy-cutting, collage-style cards and well – just about everything, Narelle Farrugia is our hostess. Take a look at this fun sketch:

While I was looking at the stamp sets on my shelf, I realized I hadn’t made a card using the ornaments in the Turnovers stamp set. And since there are three different ornaments in the set and there are three squares in the sketch, I thought I had a match.

I stamped the ornaments with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored them with my alcohol markers. They were easy to cut out with my paper snips. I added a few colored rhinestones to add some sparkle.

The ornaments were hung from some greenery that I cut out using a die from the Forever Flourishing Dies. The sentiment is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set.

We hope you’ll join us and create your own card using the sketch! Meanwhile, be sure to stop by the Freshly Made Sketches site to see what the design team has created for your inspiration.

Enjoy your Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by!
